People, this is what we're up against.

In July, this guy I had met on Tinder or Bumble contacted me on LinkedIn. I vaguely remembered having had an enjoyable conversation with him months previously, so I decided to see if maybe we could finally meet.

*Notice it only took him five months to respond.*

In his defense, um, LinkedIn.

When I finally got around to texting him (in my defense, um, LinkedIn??!), this was how the conversation went:

Yep, that is what we are up against, People.

Welcome to being single in the 21st century.

  2. Umm...wow. (That's both a reaction to the text exchange and the book cover.)

  3. I'm guessing he is married or in a relationship.

  4. I liked how after you had a conversation with AG, you thought why not continue see if there's anything there. As months pass memory fades for some people. During your chat with AG, I felt that you wanted to meet with him. I had no feelings from him that he wanted to meet up with you. So disappointing. His loss!
